The 802.3af compliant Instant Passive PoE to 802.3af Indoor Adapter from Ubiquiti Networks is designed to be used in conjunction with an 802.3af switch to give non-802.3af compliant devices the ability to receive PoE power. This adapter also features remote power control allowing administrators to power cycle connected devices remotely. Once installed, users benefit from longer cable runs as the adapter helps to eliminate power dissipation over greater distances.
