The R5AC-LITE rocket ac airMAX ac BaseStation from Ubiquiti Networks uses airMAX ac technology to provide up to 450 Mbps throughput. With an outdoor UV stabilized plastic enclosure this BaseStation can be installed in some of the harshest conditions allowing for the data signal to reach greater distances. Inside the enclosure you will find a 720 MHz Atheros MIPS 74Kc processor complete with 128MB of DDR2 RAM and 16MB of NOR Flash memory for enhanced processing power to allow for a stronger more stable signal.

The AM-5AC21-60 5GHz 22DBi airMAX ac Sector  2x2 MIMO BaseStation Sector Antenna from Ubiquiti Networks helps creating powerful point-to-point (PtP) backhaul links and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) airMAX links when paired with the RocketM5 / M5 ac BaseStation (available separately). However, it provides optimal performance with the RocketM5 ac BaseStation. The antenna has a built-in Rocket mount, so no tools are needed to install the base station.

The airMAX ac Sector Antennas feature significant advances in scalability, noise isolation, and beam performance to complement the Rocket 5ac radios in Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) networks. They are compatible with RocketM5 models; however, optimal performance requires the Rocket5ac.

The deflector-designed antenna with reduced side lobes and back lobes reject interference from other transmitters in the area, potentially on the same tower. It provides excellent gain and beam performance for high-capacity, multi-point networks.
