AF-2X (2 UNITS)
The airFiber AF-2X 2 GHz Carrier Backhaul Radio from Ubiquiti Networks is designed for long-range, Point-to-Point (PtP) backhaul links. It features a high TDD throughput and Hybrid Division Duplexing (HDD) technology that helps the device achieve low latency. The airFiber 2X also allows users to customize backhaul links or upgrade existing PtP links.
The airFiber AF-2X operates using the 2 GHz frequency band and features a range of 656,168' / 200,000m. Included with this device is a GPS antenna mount, an external GPS antenna, a metal strap, two cable ties, a 24V/1A airFiber PoE adapter with a mounting bracket, and a power cord.
Ubiquiti's INVICTUS custom silicon and proprietary radio architecture are designed specifically for long distance outdoor applications.
The airFiber X features multiple channel width options to suit your deployment needs – up to 11 different channel sizes available for the AF-2X.
Channel width flexibility allows you to independently configure TX and RX channel frequencies and place them anywhere within the radio band to avoid local interference. You also have the ability to program different uplink and downlink duty cycles to support asymmetric traffic requirements.
AF-2G24-S45 (2 UNITS)
The AF-2G24-S45 24 dBi Antenna for airFiber X 2.4 GHz Carrier Backhaul Antenna from Ubiquiti Networks is designed to be paired with an airFiber X radio as part of a large point-to-point network. By integrating this antenna into your network setup you benefit from increased performance on the 2.4 GHz frequency. With a 2x2 dual-polarity antenna configuration, the antenna/radio configuration is perfect for handling high-density network traffic. The rugged external housing ensures the antenna can withstand harsh weather conditions, while plug-and-play setup eliminates the need for special tools during installation.
Performance:
The airFiber X antenna delivers 2x2 dual-polarity performance. The airFiber X antenna along with an airFiber X radio can be deployed as endpoints in a backhaul link to deliver bandwidth from a WISP network out to a neighborhood tower. From there, an airMAX Sector antenna with a Rocket radio delivers bandwidth to the WISP's customers.
